PEPS Programs

PEPS programs are designed to strengthen families, build community, and connect parents through peer-support groups.

We are excited to be reintroducing selected PEPS Groups in person at community sites and homes for fully vaccinated adults. We will continue to share updates on our News page and through email when there are changes.

PEPS Programs

Newborn
Neighborhood-based groups for new parents with babies 2-20 weeks old. Groups meet in daytime groups with one parent attending (the same parent attends each week), or evening sessions with one or both parents. PEPS Groups are offered online, in person at community sites, in person in homes, or in hybrid groups that meet in homes and virtually.

Second Time Around
Focuses on the newborn in a family with one or more older children. One parent attends with the newborn 2-20 weeks old in neighborhood-based groups (the same parent attends each week). PEPS Groups are offered online, in person at community sites, in person in homes, or in hybrid groups that meet in homes and virtually.

Baby Peppers
One parent attends with their older baby, ages 5-12 months (the same parent attends each week). Groups are offered online or in person at community sites.

Connecting the Expecting
Birthing people, their partner, and adoptive parents can register to join groups that align with their third trimester to attend a 6-week series that will include time to share highs and lows and feature topics for discussion each week. Connecting the Expecting groups will continue to meet virtually.

Affinity Programs
PEPS is developing affinity programs for parents to meet and connect with families who share identities that intersect with their identity as parents, caregivers, and as a child. These groups meet virtually.

Parents of Adolescents and Teens
PEPS has developed a program to offer facilitated peer-support groups for parents with adolescents and teens (PAT). PAT groups meet virtually.

PEPS Network Groups
The PEPS Network Groups provide parent peer-support groups to families, including LGBTQIA+ Families, Adoptive Families, and Families of Twins & Multiples.

Additional Programs

We also provide a variety of other events and resources that support parents.

We offer these drop-in sessions, which are facilitated by professional therapists, in partnership with Perinatal Support Washington. Registration is not required. These groups are currently meeting remotely.

PEPS for Grandparents
